"There is no such wine."

David Falchek blogs about wine ("Empty Bottles") for the Scranton Times-Tribune, and does a nice job. He also...doesn't think much of the PLCB and the State's monopoly on booze sales. Read this classic tale of just what I'm talking about when I say that the State Store System doesn't exist to serve the citizens or to "protect" them through "control." It exists to serve the State and the employees; it exists to take your money.

Great story. On a personal note, the PLCB also exists to totally ignore comments or complaints submitted by residents of the Commonwealth.

I have submitted the formal comment card available in state stores (both by mail and hand-delivered by my local) and received no reply.

I sent a personal e-mail to a PLCB contact I found online and received no reply.

I submitted a comment via the PLCB website and received no reply. (Be warned: if you use the website to send a comment and your comment exceeds an arbitrary character limit that you're never informed of, when you hit "send," your comment will be deleted and you'll be told that you exceeded the unknown and arbitrary limit. NICE!)

Serving the citizenry? In the public interest? Bullshit.

This is the last straw - I hope most PA residents will boycott these PLCB stores and force the issue with their wallets!!!

Why do you assume Sam was complaining? He said he sent "submitted a comment." I mean, you're probably right, I would guess that most of the "comments" the PLCB gets are complaints, but that's kind of telling that you assume it's a complaint!
