Pennsylvania State Store 1945, an historic mistake
Believe it or not, there still are some 1930s and 1940s state stores in operation. Of course though the name has since changed to Wine & Spirits (soon to be Fine Wine & Good Spirits) and the stores are self-service. It's weird to think originally these stores only allowed the public into the waiting room at front, but now aisles take up most of the stores except for the back room.
