Keep up the fight to get rid of the dreaded PLCB.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-591881213265091346.post-80177801636674465602012-01-03T01:36:33.682-05:002012-01-03T01:36:33.682-05:00My biggest issue, and why I'm pro-privatizatio...My biggest issue, and why I'm pro-privatization is customer service, and ease of shopping. I'm originally from Michigan, I moved to PA in 2009 so you can understand that when I first moved here I was really confused (I still am on some of the more obscure laws). It was pretty alien to me. More importantly I was used to having a liquor store where the owner knows my name, and if I wanted a special beer that was hard to find, or a bottle of booze or wine that I couldn't find anywhere else I could tell him and he would always come through for me. Not so in PA, try asking a state store employee to do something like that (they can't!). If you want service like that you have to go to Delaware (but wait, that's illegal!)

I understand that the employees of state stores don't want to be out of a job, especially in an economy like this. But you know if any law does pass the severance packages will be extremely generous for them, and I'm sure benefits will also be generous, so it's not like they're going to be put out on the street.Edward Goodsmithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16984535857807767858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-591881213265091346.post-72253527893997343852011-12-13T19:38:47.421-05:002011-12-13T19:38:47.421-05:00Okay, okay, nothing is set or certain. It has been amended...and can be amended again. This is just a step.Lew Brysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04084380741402026573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-591881213265091346.post-41726285407424264052011-12-13T19:13:49.696-05:002011-12-13T19:13:49.696-05:00The sale is dead.

The last time the results for that poll appeared, pro-privitization had 72% of the votes. That's interesting given that the PLCB usually makes the pro-privitization supporters to be inherently anti-union (which many of us are not). http://www.post-gazette.com/Laurie Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16886124993171547304noreply@blogger.com
